The many local and national attractions the area offers include St Pauls Cathedral, The Millennium Bridge, Leadenhall, Smithfield and Spitalfields markets to name a few. Whilst the city is the financial district, it also boasts many award-winning restaurants, bars, boutique shops and a number of well kept City Gardens.

London City can be divided into four separate postcodes, each with their own identity and attractions, and all are popular choices with city workers. Property in EC1 (including Clerkenwell, Farringdon and Smithfield), EC2 (including Liverpool Street, the Barbican area and south of Old Street), EC3 (including Monument, Bank and Tower Hill) and EC4 (including Temple, Fleet Street, Holborn, Queenhithe, Blackfriars and St Pauls) can range from magnificent penthouse and loft-style apartments to classic City pied-a-terres and occasional family houses. Within the City there are a plethora of award-winning restaurants, boutique shops, historical monuments and a buzzing nightlife.

The Barbican estate (EC2) was built between 1965 and 1971 and has since created a residential community in the centre of the City making it a very exclusive address to live in. The Barbican Estate consists of over 2000 properties with 100 different layouts available. As a result there is high demand for properties within the development due to the fantastic amenities it has to offer. The stunning botanical gardens, combined with the art centre and schools available help provide a real community for the residents as well as proving a secure environment.

Spitalfields E1 is another popular residential location on the edge of the Square Mile and is steeped in history. Its reputation has grown due to its desirable proximity to Liverpool Street Station, Spitalfields Market (founded in the 17th Century) and many other street markets, as well as many fashionable shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Fournier Street and Wilkes Street in particular are well known for their early Georgian Huguenot houses.

London City benefits from a multitude of transport options from buses to underground and over ground train services (the Docklands Light Railway, City Thames Link and East London line mainline train services). Blackfriars and Tower Hill also provide access to the London River Taxi providing fast river boat services to Embankment to the West and Canary Wharf, O2, Greenwich and Woolwich to the East.
