Buckinghamshire is notable for its open countryside and natural features, including the Chilterns Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with the Chiltern line being the principal train operating company providing the majority of commuter services, into London Marylebone. Thriving historic towns, such as Amersham, Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross can reach London within half an hour. Alongside the grammar school system is a wealth of private schooling including Wycombe Abbey, Stowe and Caldicott. It is also the location of Pinewood Studios and Dorney Lake which held the rowing events at the 2012 Summer Olympics, with the River Thames forming the southern boundary with Berkshire. The county is served by four motorways, providing convenient access to Heathrow airport.
